"Will you be my bridesmaid?"
Earlier this year one of my friends from high school asked me to be her bridesmaid. I was honoured to take on this momentous occasion and help her along the way with the all the hustle and bustle with the wedding preparations from start to finish with the dress fittings, colour choices, a shoulder to cry on and to laugh with, hens night planner and my recent project was to be art director behind the Kitchen Tea invites.

Being stuck in an office behind a computer 5 days a week has made my creative flair slightly rusty but with the help of Pinterest and some nifty DIY bridal blogs I was inspired with My Two Butterflies easy DIY Bridal Shower Card blog post I gave it a go myself with my own twist.

| Step 2: Scrapbooking paper attached to the card stock |
3. Carefully stick the scrapbooking paper to the card stock using the double sided tape (make sure they are even on both sides).
4. Stick some double sided tape to the back of the doily and attach it onto the card.
5. Add a diamante to the middle of the waist line of the doily dress.
6. For the finishing touch, print out some "Kitchen Tea" tea wording to some light pink paper. Using the decorative craft scissors cut around the wording and gently stick it just below the doily dress.
